Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation Licence Agreement

Whilst it is intended that the total amount paid should satisfy the total cost of your stay during the licence period, should any additional services be required or in the event that damage or loss (other than ordinary wear and tear) needs to be made good then Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation is authorised to take additional payment from your damage deposit, pre-authorisation, credit or debit card as applicable.

Terms and Conditions

1 – This contract is entered into between the leaseholder of the apartment and the guest (the person who books the apartment including any person who occupies the apartment during the period of the licence). Guests will be required to show ID, the credit card that was used to make the booking and sign this license agreement upon check-in along with a registration form and apartment inventory.

2 – Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation acts solely as the agent for the leaseholder.

3 – The licensor grants the guest a licence to occupy the apartment during the licence period and will not enter into the apartment without due cause without the guests prior agreement nor otherwise interfere with the guest’s reasonable expectation of quiet enjoyment.

4 – No pets are allowed in the apartment or the building.

5 – No smoking is permitted in the property. An automatic charge of £250 shall be deducted from your damage deposit, credit or debit card as applicable if we find evidence or suspect that you have been smoking.  If this is found during the stay, the fee will be processed in addition to any damage deposit or pre-authorisation we may have on hold

6 – The total anticipated cost of the stay is payable at the time the booking is made. We reserve the right to place a pre-authorisation hold on your payment card ahead of or at check-in for £500 for one and two bedroom apartments and £350 for studios. Add-ons such as additional services or extra cleaning may be payable at different times.

7 – The apartment is not to be used for any illegal, illicit or immoral purpose and should any such occur, the license will be terminated forthwith and no refund given.

8 – We expect our guests not to interfere with the quiet enjoyment of other guests within the building. The Porters conduct security checks throughout the night and also to ensure that noise is kept to a minimum. Any guests causing a nuisance will have their license terminated forthwith and no refund given.

9 – Check-in is 3pm and check-out 11am. If you arrive before 3pm, the Porters will be happy to secure your luggage until your room is ready. Late check-outs and early arrivals can be arranged in advance and will incur an additional charge. If you are checking out late without prior agreement, we reserve the right to charge an additional night and will take this additional payment from your damage deposit, pre-authorisation amount, credit or debit card as applicable.

10 Cancellation

10.1 – The guest may cancel the booking at any time up to 5 clear days before the commencement of the licence period. The total sum paid by the guest will be refunded to the guest through the same means, as was used by the guest to pay the amount due. Reservations made through third-party websites may have different cancellation policies, in which case those terms will apply.

10.2 – The licensor may cancel the booking within one clear working days of the booking being made. The total sum paid by the guest will be refunded to the guest through the same means, as was used by the guest to pay the amount due.

10.3 – If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the remaining nights are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated at the time of booking.

10.4 – The total number of people who will use the apartment (including you) must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation as advertised.

10.5 – If the total number of people staying overnight in the Apartment exceeds the number of people you advised us would be staying, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee. Children under two years of age will not be counted as members of your party. There is an additional fee to use the sofa bed. Please select this at booking or contact us to request this.

11 – Damages

11.1 – Any missing or damaged items or appliances must be reported immediately to avoid penalties.

11.2 – Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation or the porters within 24 hours of the event. An inventory will be taken by us on the guest’s departure and the leaseholder reserves the right to reclaim the cost of any loss or damage (other than minor breakages or ordinary wear and tear) attributable to the occupant or any guest by retaining some or all of the damage deposit, pre-authorisation amount or charging the guest’s credit card.

11.3 – Please do not remove the keys from the building, leave them with the Porters during your stay. Mislaid keys will incur a charge of £175 to replace them and this will be deducted from the card used to pay for the booking, pre-authorisation amount or damage deposit as applicable. We will not be responsible for any losses should you lose your keys. Immediately on termination of the licence period the key should be returned to the porters’ desk when you leave.

11.4 – The use of external plumbing equipment in the kitchens and /or bathrooms, such as but not limited to a douche, is not permitted as it presents a health and safety risk, and potential contamination to the drinking water supply. External equipment found shall be immediately removed and the cost of repairing any damage caused during its installation will be deducted from your security deposit. For your convenience a lotta is provided.

12 – Neither the Licensor nor NGCA accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to the guest’s possessions whatsoever and howsoever caused save for any negligence on the part of NGCA, its servants or agents.

13 – Servicing the apartment

Unless requested more frequently and the appropriate charge is paid, bed linen and towels will be provided at the start of each licence period and one clean of the apartment and a change of linen and towels will take place once per seven days. Any additional daily cleaning or linen requested and paid for by the guest shall take place between 9.30 a.m. and 5pm. Guests are expected to leave the flat as they found it with fridges empty and any rubbish bagged up and left in the rubbish cupboard. Excess cleaning beyond 2 hours will be charged to the guest at the rate of £30 per hour.

14 – Data Protection Any personal data provided by the guest will only be retained for such period as is necessary for the company’s records and will be used solely for the purpose of arranging for the guest’s use of the apartment; future bookings, dealing with payments, or refunds as the case may be. Paper copies of signed registration forms and license agreements are destroyed after one year. We will not share your information with third-parties. 15 – This contract is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the English Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute or claim which may arise under the licence or from the occupation of the apartment.
